Returning to St Mary's, but looking through a very different lens. I wanted to experiment with how a tall, narrow canvas changes the dynamic of a coastal landscape. 

The vertical format emphasises the height of the lighthouse and the depth of the sea, while the cooler, monochromatic blue palette gives the scene a calm, atmospheric energy. 

The sharp, intersecting rays in the sky and the bold, primary colours of the boats below bring the signature geometric movement to life in a totally new way.
